Domestic Violence Tragedy: Woman Killed by Husband in Tangier, Morocco

A new femicide occurred on Sunday in downtown Tanger. A man in his thirties violently hit and repeatedly ran over his wife before surrendering to the police.
A young woman in her twenties was thrown onto the road by the force of the impact. Crushed several times by her husband’s company car, the victim died on the spot due to her serious injuries.
According to the initial information from the investigation, the 33-year-old man had no criminal record. Newly married, the young spouses were going through difficult trials that were straining their relationship, reports Hibapress.
The victim’s body was transferred to the Mohamed V hospital, while an investigation was opened under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office to determine the exact circumstances of the tragic accident.
