Deadly Highway Crash in Morocco: 5 Killed, 8 Critically Injured Near Marrakech

It was six o’clock in the morning when the tragedy occurred at PK 275, near the Ait Lahcen douar. A freight transport truck collided head-on with another vehicle.

According to the Kech24 website, the human toll is very heavy. 5 people lost their lives in the impact, while 8 others were transported in critical condition to the Mohammed VI Hospital in Chichaoua.

An investigation has been opened by the services of the Royal Gendarmerie, under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, in order to determine the exact circumstances of the tragedy.
