Moroccan Boxer Khadija El Mardi Clinches Gold at Nations Cup Tournament in Serbia

Khadija El Mardi, one of the Moroccan boxers representing the Moroccan flag in Serbia, won the gold medal at the 9th edition of the Nations Boxing Tournament.
Morocco distinguished itself in Serbia. Two of its representatives were rewarded for their efforts in the 75 kg and 69 kg categories, during this important international sporting event (9th Nations cup women international tournament), which the Serbian city of Sombor hosted, from January 15 to 20, with the participation of 25 countries.
The objective of Morocco’s participation in this international tournament is part of the preparatory phase of the Olympic qualifying rounds that will take place from February 20 to 29 in Dakar, Senegal, in order to ensure qualification for the Tokyo Olympics next summer, the Royal Moroccan Boxing Federation (FRMB) said in a statement.
According to the same source, the participation of the two Moroccan boxing champions took place under the supervision of the national coach, Noureddine Bahlas.
