Moroccan-Born Singer Asha to Represent Spain at Junior Eurovision 2020

It is the Moroccan Hajar Sbihi, alias Asha, who will represent Spain at the next edition of the 2020 Eurovision Junior Song Contest. The Spanish public television company (RTVE) announces that she will perform her song "Palante".
Interpreted by Solea Fernandez, "Palante" is also composed by César G. Ross, and Bruno Valverde, reports the local press, adding that after her higher education in Spain, Hajar Sbihi, 23, has chosen to settle there to devote herself to music.
The Moroccan singer and songwriter released her first single last June, with over a million views on YouTube in a month.
At the age of 12, Hajar, who was born and raised in Morocco, was selected to participate in the interpretation of the song "Bokra" (tomorrow), a call for the promotion of freedom, peace, tolerance, hope, brotherhood and love. This was under the supervision of Quincy Jones, as producer, in collaboration with Red One.
Hajar has also composed songs that are making headlines in Spain. The 18th Eurovision Junior Song Contest 2020 will take place in Poland, in Warsaw, on November 29, 2021.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the health measures taken, the Junior Eurovision will be held in a television studio. A first in the history of the Contest.
