Moroccan Singer Asha Emerges as Spain’s Latest Pop Sensation

In a short time, Hajar has become the new rising star of composition and interpretation in Spain. The young Moroccan, originally from Salé, is now in demand by the best Spanish and English-speaking artists in Spain and several other countries.

Settled in Spain in 2015 to continue her higher education at IE University, she revealed her musical talents at the University where she chaired the Music Club. In 2019, Hajar composed "Oye Pablo" for Danna Paolo, a successful Netflix actress and number 1 artist in Mexico where the song became 3x Platinum and viewed by 152 million people on YouTube. After obtaining her diploma in June 2019, Hajar fully devoted herself to her musical activities and released her first single "Besame" in June 2020. With this title, the success was immediate on social networks and music distribution platforms. Asha indeed obtained one million views on YouTube and more than 500,000 streams on Spotify in just one month.

Asha composed in September 2020 the song "Palante", which will represent Spain at the Eurovision Junior 2020 and which will be performed by Solea Fernandez. In addition, the release of her second single is scheduled for October 23. Proof that "a dream has become a reality". "My dream was always to be a high-level singer, but I never thought my journey would start in Spain.
