Pakistani Man Found Dead After Kidnapping by Moroccan Crime Ring in Spain
The Pakistani community in Spain is in mourning. One of their own, who was kidnapped by a Moroccan mafia, was finally found dead last week.
Mehtaab Mehboob, a 31-year-old Pakistani, was kidnapped by members of a Moroccan mafia in Rafal, in northeastern Spain.
Last Monday, the attackers contacted a friend of the young man to demand a ransom in exchange for his release. Amount: 100,000 euros.
However, the attitude of the kidnappers, who refused any communication with the victim, ended up intriguing Mehtaab’s relatives. A complaint had then been filed. Despite the police investigations, the young man was still untraceable. A week later, his lifeless body was found in Sant Feliu de Llobregat.
