Spain Tightens COVID-19 Entry Rules for Morocco, Other High-Risk Countries

Faced with the resurgence of the Covid-19 pandemic, Spain has decided to impose new measures on international travelers from countries considered at risk, including Morocco.
A negative PCR test performed 72 hours before departure will be required for international travelers from countries considered at risk, including Morocco, in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree-Law 23/2020 of June 23 and the resolution of November 11, 2020 of the Directorate General of Public Health, the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Saturday. This new measure will come into effect from this Monday, November 23.
International travelers who are in transit at a Spanish airport and are heading to a final destination in a different country are not affected by this measure.
