Moroccan-Belgian Karateka Claims Silver at European U21 Championships

The Brussels-born Moroccan Youness Oualad lost to a Bosnian fighter at the WKF World Cup, the U21 European karate championship.
A defeat so close to the goal for young Youness Oualad, who lost 4-3 at the European Karate Championship held in Croatia. Despite all his efforts, the young Moroccan lost the fight. "An unfair defeat in the final where I clearly deserved the victory, where several scored points were penalized (contacts)," he wrote on his Facebook page.
Despite the disappointment of this defeat, Youness Oualad remains focused on his goal, which is the gold medal, an essential condition to integrate the senior competitions.
