Marouane Fellaini Returns to Chinese Super League After Injury Setback

Injured for several weeks, the former Belgian international of Moroccan origin, Marouane Fellaini, who plays for Shandong Taishan in China, has finally resumed the championship, which started in early June.
The former Red Devil, who has become the mainstay of the Chinese club, has recovered from his injuries, reports DH, specifying that this recovery has been slower than expected. "Since the last few games, his condition has been improving more and more, but it will take him time to fully recover," said his coach Hao Wei.
During Fellaini’s absence, the reigning Chinese champion has recorded several defeats, particularly on the continental stage. The 35-year-old player was indeed involved in 80% of the goals scored by his club last season.
The former Manchester United player is also expected by his club to turn the tide in the championship as Shandong Taishan currently has 12 points out of 18, four points behind the leaders, Shanghai Shenhua and Wuhan Three Towns.
