Moroccan Authorities Seize Massive Alcohol and Drug Shipment Near Guelmim

To succeed in their exploit, the elements of the Royal Gendarmerie set an ambush on the car and its driver, 10 km north of the entrance to Guelmim towards Tan Tan.

The operation proved fruitful: 4,000 cases of beer, 60 bottles of vodka, 42 bottles of red wine, 70 bottles of beer, 55 kg of cannabis and 20 kg of powdered tobacco were seized. As for the driver, he had time to escape by heading towards Oued Sayad.

For now, the Royal Gendarmerie is pursuing its investigations, in order to know the origin of this quantity of contraband products and also to arrest the driver of the vehicle and all the people who would be involved in this case.
