Moroccan Authorities Dismantle ISIS-Linked Terror Cell Planning Attacks in Multiple Cities

The Moroccan Ministry of the Interior has just announced the dismantling of a terrorist cell in several cities across the country, whose members were ready to act.
"The Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations (BCIJ) proceeded on Thursday to dismantle a terrorist cell in the cities of Sidi Bennour, El Jadida, Mohammedia and Marrakech," the ministry said.
Composed of 6 members, this cell maintained close ties with active elements in the "Daesh" organization in Libya, the ministry said, stating that the cell was planning terrorist acts in the Kingdom.
All members of this terrorist cell, aged 27 to 40, were taken into custody pending their appearance before a judge.
Exactly a month ago, the BCIJ had dismantled in Safi a cell composed of five individuals aged 21 to 36. They had planned to "join the ranks of this terrorist group on the Syro-Iraqi scene, in coordination with one of its members on the ground."
