Morocco Arrests New Suspect Linked to Dismantled Terrorist Cell

A few hours after the dismantling of a terrorist cell composed of 8 active members in northern Morocco, the BCIJ announces the arrest of another individual.
In a statement, the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigation (BCIJ) reports the arrest "of another element suspected of having links with the members of this cell". The details of this arrest as well as the city are not specified in the press release.
Yesterday morning, the police proceeded to the arrest of 8 members of this cell active in Tangier and its region. One of the arrested individuals is "the brother of a fighter in the ranks of ’Daesh’ on the Syro-Iraqi scene", the Ministry of the Interior explained in a press release.
According to the first elements of the investigation disclosed by the authorities, "the members of this cell (20 to 31 years old), supporters of ’Daesh’, have adhered to the propaganda of this terrorist group and its extremist discourses, while trying to carry out major terrorist operations in the Kingdom".
Note that the last anti-terrorist operation in Morocco dates back to April 23. The BCIJ had arrested 6 people in Salé suspected of belonging to a terrorist cell.
