Moroccan Authorities Dismantle Cemetery Excavation Ring in Tiznit

The gendarmes of the Tiznit company put an end to the activities of a gang of five individuals, including a fqih, who were engaged in illegal excavations in cemeteries in the Souss-Massa region.
The group is suspected of having carried out illegal excavations in two cemeteries, in search of a treasure. The investigations made it possible to shed light on their involvement in this case.
This operation is part of the desire to fight against all forms of crime in the region. The local authorities of Tiznit are multiplying the actions to stem the trafficking of this kind.
Not long ago, a large quantity of cannabis resin was seized. The drug, from the north of the country, was intended to supply the market in the southern provinces. Two individuals were apprehended during this operation, and their vehicle was seized.
