Moroccan Arrested in Major Barcelona Doping Ring Bust

The Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) of the Mossos d’Esquadra has arrested a Moroccan, involved in a criminal organization specialized in the counterfeiting and illicit distribution of doping substances in gyms in Barcelona.
It all started with a delivery, to a false address, of 100 boxes of growth hormone, last July, by a transport agency, reports Moncloa. The investigation, opened in this context, has revealed that the criminal organization operating as a "wholesaler", is specialized in the clandestine importation of drugs.
The group distributed the drugs wholesale throughout the Spanish territory. This is "the largest operation carried out in this field by the Catalan regional police," it is said.
In addition to the Moroccan, seven people of Spanish nationality and a Pakistani are involved in this network of trafficking and counterfeiting of doping substances, pending the arrest of other accomplices for the needs of the investigation.
