Moroccan Activist Alleges Sexual Harassment by Settat Official in Viral Video

In a video posted on social media, an activist resident of Belgium accuses the President of the Provincial Council of the city of Settat of sexual harassment.
The activist would have received obscene messages on Facebook and WhatsApp when she was preparing the Migrant Festival in Settat.
According to her, the President of the Council would have asked to meet her at her home at late hours. After rejecting his advances, she claims that he gave her an appointment in his office.
The activist added that she kept a copy of the President’s written and audio messages, in which she was the victim of sexual harassment, although he had once tried to delete them during a meeting outside the Prefecture.
Before leaving Morocco, she had informed the Department of Internal Affairs of the Prefecture of the behavior she describes as indecent and obscene on the part of the official.
