Moroccan Teacher Arrested for Alleged Sexual Harassment of 5 Primary School Students

The teacher of a primary school in the Commune of Moulay Yaacoub was accused by the parents of 5 students of sexual harassment. Apprehended by the police, the suspect denied everything.
Prosecuted on provisional release, the teacher was brought before the Prosecutor of the King near the Court of Appeal of Fez on Thursday, October 3, following complaints filed against him by the parents of the 5 students.
According to the Aljarida24 website, the teacher is accused of sexual harassment. The underage children would have been, according to the statements of the parents, victims of sexual touching in the classrooms.
The suspect, who is the subject of an in-depth investigation by the police, denied any sexual intent in his gestures. According to the latest information, the judge decided to release the suspect provisionally after paying a bail of 5,000 dirhams. He will have to appear on Monday, October 7, before the criminal chamber.
