Mobile Giants Vie for Moroccan Football Sponsorship as Maroc Telecom Exits

The mobile operators Inwi and Orange Maroc are competing to replace Maroc Telecom, the sponsor of the Botola, the Throne Cup and the national teams.
The leaders of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) are looking for a new sponsor to replace Maroc Telecom, the official sponsor of national football. In this regard, they have entered into negotiations with the telephone operator Orange Maroc, reports Al Ahdath Al Maghriba. But this operator is not alone in the race. He has another one in front of him: Inwi.
The same source indicates that it is highly likely that the FRMF will have a different sponsor for the Botola and for the Throne Cup in addition to the national teams. Conversely, an anonymous source confides that the FRMF could grant the entire market to a single operator, provided that it makes an offer that meets its financial requirements.
