Missing Infant Found Safe in Casablanca After Swift Police Operation

The joint actions carried out by the judicial police of the Sidi Bernoussi district in Casablanca, and the services of the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST) made it possible to find, on Saturday morning, the infant who had mysteriously disappeared.
In a statement, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) stressed the speed of the action of the security services which, thanks to their in-depth investigations, were able to find the infant in perfect health. He was returned to his mother, while the alleged perpetrator of this kidnapping was arrested. Another individual also involved in this case is incarcerated for non-denunciation.
According to the same source, it all started with a complaint received on Friday evening by the national security services of the Sidi Bernoussi district in Casablanca. The mother reported the kidnapping of her 20-month-old infant by one of her acquaintances. Immediately, the elements of the judicial police deployed on the ground and succeeded, at the end of their investigations, in locating the child and apprehending the perpetrators of this criminal act.
The two suspects have already been taken into custody, at the disposal of the investigation. This is being conducted under the supervision of the public prosecutor’s office in order to elucidate the circumstances as well as the ins and outs of this case, concludes the same statement.
