AC Milan Star Brahim Diaz Remains Loyal to Boyhood Club Malaga FC

Brahim Diaz, one of the key players of AC Milan, said he closely follows the news about Malaga FC, the club where he started his football career. He still remembers Malaga’s defeat against Borussia Dortmund in 2013, in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.
"Even if it doesn’t seem like it, I always watch Malaga’s matches. And it’s hard because since I was little, I grew up there, watching the club, and I just hope they’ll go far. They have all my support and I’ll always be there," Brahim Diaz said in an interview with Marca.
The Moroccan-born striker of AC Milan remembers Malaga FC’s defeat against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League quarter-finals ten years ago. "I watched the game and I think we deserved to win. But that’s football, it didn’t happen... At that time, I said to myself: ’I hope one day I’ll play this kind of game, with pressure, a big game.’ That’s why I’m happy today to be able to play this kind of game," added Brahim Diaz, whose team faces Inter Milan this Wednesday, May 10 at 9pm at San Siro in the Champions League semi-finals.
The 23-year-old player has a chance to take his team to the final, a feat that will undoubtedly delight the Milanese who have not reached this level for years, but also his Malaga fans who will not fail to follow the match.
