Michelin-Starred Chef Hélène Darroze to Lead Restaurants at Luxury Marrakech Hotel

The Royal Mansour Marrakech will soon welcome a great Michelin-starred chef in the person of Hélène Darroze, who will take over the management of two of the palace’s restaurants, La Grande Table Marocaine and La Table, from spring 2023.

Hélène Darroze is a renowned French chef with six stars to her credit, which have been awarded to her restaurants in Paris, London and Villa La Coste. She was also named best female chef in the world in 2015.

For the Royal Mansour Marrakech, Darroze plans to create a new culinary offering that fuses her Western know-how with Moroccan authenticity. In a press release, she said she was delighted to join the Royal Mansour Marrakech family, an iconic hotel always in search of excellence to offer its clientele unprecedented experiences.

The Royal Mansour Marrakech is a private 6-hectare estate located in the heart of Marrakech, just steps from the famous Jemaa El Fna square. It offers a unique hotel experience combining tradition and modernity.

The general manager of the Royal Mansour Marrakech, Jean-Claude Messant, also spoke about this collaboration, which marks a new era for the hotel: "We are very pleased with this collaboration, the prelude to a new era at the Royal Mansour Marrakech. With Hélène Darroze, we will continue our ambition to always surprise our guests with unprecedented experiences in order to strengthen and perpetuate our status as a culinary destination of choice."
