Mexican Pop Star’s Secret Romance with Moroccan Prince Revealed
Former singer and actress, Pilar Montenegro, allegedly had an affair with a prince of Morocco, announced former Garibaldi member, Luisa Fernanda. Did King Hassan II oppose this relationship?
Invited on the SNSerio show, Luisa Fernanda indicated that Garibaldi had the privilege of singing for the King of Morocco because the princes of the kingdom had studied in Spain. "Every year, the King of Morocco invited us to sing..." she recalls. But the experience ended because "Pilar was dating one of the princes and when the king found out, our trips to Morocco came to an end," she reveals.
The former singer also recounted a few anecdotes about their stays at the royal palace. She remembers the day when Katia, a member of the group, accidentally sat on the king’s throne.
The Garibaldi group recently announced that it plans to publish their stories through a series or documentary.
