Mexican Actress Detained in Morocco for Speeding, Later Released

Mexican actress Mariana Echeverria revealed on her Instagram account that she and her husband were arrested by the police and then released during their stay in Morocco.
Mariana Echeverria recently posted on her Instagram account videos and photos of her stay in Morocco, noting that she and her husband, Oscar Jiménez, were arrested in the kingdom and then released a few hours later, according to Futbol.
The 37-year-old Mexican actress recounted to her more than 2 million followers on this social network the conditions under which they were arrested. The couple exceeded the speed limit on a Moroccan highway and had to pay a fine. "The police stopped us because we were driving too fast on the highway. [...] We paid a 300 dirham fine (about 30 euros)," she explained.
"After a few hours on the road, we just arrived in Marrakech. We will spend two days here sightseeing, then we will go to Casablanca," Mariana Echeverria also told her fans.
