Messi Withdraws from Argentina-Morocco Match Due to Injury

He’s not coming after all. The player Lionel Messi will not make the trip to Morocco next week for the match the Argentines are to play against the Atlas Lions.
The Argentine Football Federation indicates that the Barcelona player is suffering from pain in the pubic area. This will also be the case for another player: Gonzalo Martinez.
"Gonzalo Martinez: injury to the left hamstring. Lionel Messi: worsening of pubic pains. Both players have withdrawn from Argentina’s next match," reads the tweet from the Argentine federation.
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) had nevertheless done everything to bring the player in and had even offered one million dollars in case of the player’s presence and of course much less in case of absence. The Moroccans had also made major efforts in terms of the security of the players on and off the pitch, not to mention the services provided: a luxury trip and relaxation in short.
Moreover, the FRMF had sold this match to the Moroccans by claiming that Messi would be there and that will not be the case. In addition to the Barcelona player, Di Maria, injured during his team’s training, will not be lined up. In the end, the Moroccans will have a second-string team in front of them, but will they win the match anyway?
