Moroccan Football Federation Demands Answers as Messi Skips Argentina Friendly

All this fuss for nothing. After weeks of rumors, player Lionel Messi will ultimately not be present at the match that is to oppose Morocco to Argentina, which greatly annoys the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).
The Moroccan federation has demanded explanations from its Argentine counterpart following the announcement of Messi’s unavailability due to a pubic injury sustained during a match with Barça. The latter remained in Barcelona to receive treatment.
The problem is that in the contract linking the two federations, Messi’s presence at this match was stipulated in exchange for around 500,000 euros that Morocco was to pay, an amount that has never been officially confirmed. In a press release, the FRMF writes that it has "requested explanations from the accredited match agent of the Argentine Federation following reports of Messi’s absence from the friendly match Morocco-Argentina scheduled for Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at the Grand Stade de Tanger (8:00 p.m.)".
And to recall that it "had insisted in the contract organizing this meeting on the presence of the Argentine A team against the Atlas Lions", in other words, it did not want to see a B team arrive in Morocco that would not attract many people to the stadium.
It should be noted that this match will be broadcast tomorrow at 8 p.m. on the Arryadia channel.
