Messi’s Move to Inter Miami Derails Barcelona’s Pursuit of Amrabat

Barça is no longer interested in Sofyan Amrabat, after the failure of Messi’s transfer who preferred to join Inter Miami in the United States.
The Catalan club needed a dynamic midfielder to feed the attack led by Messi, and was convinced that Sofyan Amrabat was the ideal profile for this position. Now that Messi’s transfer has not materialized, Barça’s plans to recruit the Moroccan player from Fiorentina are also falling through, reports Sport.es.
With Gündogan’s arrival, coach Xavi Hernandez now has a fairly balanced midfield, and is rather looking for a player who can make the difference at the center forward and whose price would be within the reach of the Catalan club, which is facing financial difficulties.
