Messi’s Argentina Faces Morocco in Highly Anticipated Friendly Match
Here we are. Finally. After several weeks of suspense, particularly on the presence or not of Lionel Messi, the football match between Morocco and Argentina is taking place tonight in Tangier and will be broadcast live on television.
The national coach Hervé Renard will no doubt line up his best players not only to try to win the match but also to entertain the many Moroccans who will travel to the venue to watch the match. The ONCF has also made reduced rates available to spectators and increased the frequency of its trains from Casablanca, Rabat or Kenitra.
For the starting lineup, we should probably see Benatia, Fajr, and Idrissi, safe bets to give confidence against a team with an impressive record but which will be deprived of several players such as Lionel Messi or Di Maria.
On a trip to Malawi for the last match of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, the Atlas Lions came back with a draw, while the Argentines were dominated 3-1 by Venezuela.
Note that this match is broadcast live on the Arryadia channel.
Here is the pitch that will host the match:
