Morocco Faces Gambia in Crucial Pre-Africa Cup of Nations Friendly Match

The Moroccan national football team will face its Gambian counterpart today as part of its preparation for the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) which is to start in a few days in Egypt. The Atlas Lions must absolutely win to start the competition with confidence.
This friendly match against Gambia precedes the one against Zambia that Morocco will also face in a friendly match on June 16. The two matches take place at the Grand Stade Marrakech. The players will go to Marrakech in the morning before returning the same evening to the Maâmora center.
To better prepare for these matches as well as the CAN matches, national coach Hervé Renard published the list of 23 selected players yesterday. The notable absence of Amine Harit and Ayoub El Kaabi is noted.
For those who want to watch this match live, they can follow it live on the Arryadia channel starting at 5:30 p.m. Moroccan time, so 6:30 p.m. French and Belgian time.
Note that the team that will be fielded today by the coach will give a glimpse of what we should see during the continental competition.
