Morocco to Face Gambia and Zambia in Pre-Africa Cup of Nations Friendlies

Less than a month before the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN), Morocco plans to play two friendly matches as part of its preparation, and it will be against two African countries.
The two opposing teams were announced yesterday by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF). Thus, the first match of the Atlas Lions will be played against Gambia on Wednesday, June 12. The match will take place at the Grand Stade de Marrakech at 5:30 pm, where it is likely to be already hot, a good preparation therefore for the matches in Egypt.
The second match is scheduled 4 days later, on June 16, 2019, this time against the Zambia team. Like the previous one, the match will take place at the same stadium in Marrakech.
To prepare for these two matches, the coach of the Moroccan team, Hervé Renard, is awaiting his players for a preparation camp (in the middle of Ramadan) scheduled to start on June 2 at the National Football Center (CNF) in Maamoura in Salé.
In a press release, the FRMF indicates that the players will travel to Marrakech in the morning of each match before returning to the CNF in the evening.
Furthermore, the Moroccan players will travel to Egypt on June 18 from Rabat-Salé airport, the FRMF warns, which is undoubtedly keen for supporters to come and encourage the team before their departure.
