Medhi Benatia: Former Atlas Lions Captain Eyes Serie A Return, Possibly to Juventus

Rumors of a possible return to Italy for Atlas Lions captain Medhi Benatia are becoming more and more insistent. After a golden semi-retirement in Qatar, it is very likely that he will return to Serie A next season.
These rumors are put forward by several Italian press outlets who claim that the Moroccan player could return to the Juventus Turin team, a club he already knows for having played there for several years (2016-2019).
The daily La Stampa assures that the Old Lady is looking for an experienced player and would have set her sights on the captain of the Atlas Lions who will play in a few days, in addition to two friendly matches, undoubtedly his last Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
And to affirm that his return is more than possible since the one who is at the origin of the Moroccan’s departure to Qatar, namely the coach Massimo Allegri, is no longer in charge of the club. In addition, the demand is very strong from the supporters. When we know the influence of these supporters, we can assume that this rumor is more than plausible.
To all those who said that Medhi Benatia made the choice of Qatar and its millions, the player himself swears that this is not the case and that his decision was dictated by the religious atmosphere of the country and the Islamic education he wishes to give to his children.
