Massive Security Operation Deployed for CAF Champions League Final in Casablanca

6,000 law enforcement officers mobilized to ensure the security of the final of the CAF Champions League which pits this Monday evening at the Mohammed-V Sports Complex in Casablanca, Wydad against Al Ahly of Egypt.
The prefect of police of Casablanca, Abdellah El Ouardi, assured that the Director General of National Security has given firm instructions so that nothing will disrupt the security of people and property during this long-awaited final between Wydad of Casablanca and Al Ahly of Egypt.
The prefect added that a set of human and material resources have been made available to the prefecture of police for good security organization. The law enforcement officers will have the mission of identifying people holding fake tickets or wishing to access the stadium without a ticket. Likewise, a search will be carried out at the entrance of the complex. The DGSN has not spared any means to ensure security during this match which will be attended by many personalities from the sports world, including the President of FIFA, Gianni Infantino.
Abdellah El Ouardi specified that vehicles will be deployed for the first time at the Mohammed-V Sports Complex. These vehicles have "advanced technical means used in the process of marking, remote photography and communication between all stakeholders inside and outside the stadium," says the official.
