Massive Drug Bust in Morocco: 5 Tons Seized, Suspect Flees in Nador

More than 5 tons of drugs wrapped in 169 large packages were seized this Thursday in Nador.
The accused was transporting these large quantities of drugs on board a utility vehicle registered in Morocco, at the level of the Nador Bypass, according to a statement from the DGSN.
The operation was a success, thanks to the collaboration between the judicial police elements of Nador and the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN). The accused having fled, the search continues to identify and arrest him.
In addition, a judicial investigation has been opened under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office to identify all the accomplices in this case and uncover any possible ramifications at the national and international levels, it is specified.
