Massive Counterfeit Euro Haul Discovered in Moroccan City, Police Launch Investigation

Police officers stationed in Mohammedia discovered more than 6 million euros in counterfeit banknotes in a garbage bin. An investigation has been opened.
According to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), the "amount" found is precisely 6,496,000 euros divided into nearly 15,000 banknotes of 100, 200 and 500 euros.
The counterfeit euros seized were handed over, for analysis, to the specialized police laboratory, the same source specifies, adding that an investigation has been opened to elucidate and find all the people involved in this case.
