Moroccan Teens Find and Return $40,000 Found Near Supermarket

In Fez, two minors reported $40,000 to the police after finding the money near a well-known supermarket in the city.
During a walk in the city, two minors notice a plastic bag carefully placed near a trash can near a very well-known supermarket, reports the daily Assabah. Curious, they approach it, take the bag, open it and discover a large sum of money in US dollars. They run to the home of one of them. In total, $40,000 in $100 bills were in the bag.
The two minors decide to alert the father of one of them to this strange discovery. The latter checks the bills and finds that they all have the same serial number. They were therefore counterfeit bills. He takes the two teenagers to the police station of the 14th district to alert the police. The latter confirms that they were indeed counterfeit bills. The judicial police brigade opened an investigation into the circulation of counterfeit foreign currency bills in order to find the forgers.
