Massive Cannabis Bust: 3.2 Tons Seized at Casablanca Port in Foiled Smuggling Operation

An investigation has been opened by the judicial police to arrest all the people involved in an attempt to traffic 3.2 tons of cannabis resin seized at the port of Casablanca.
The discovery of this quantity of drugs came as a result of border control operations at the port of Casablanca, according to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), specifying that the drugs were to be shipped abroad via a container.
According to the first elements of the investigation, the 3.2 tons of cannabis resin were carefully hidden in consumer products intended for export. The agents also identified the warehouse used to load the drugs.
The investigations "continue to arrest all the people involved in this criminal act and their accomplices," the same source said.
