Marseille Secures Moroccan Midfielder Amine Harit in Permanent Deal from Schalke 04
It is now official, Moroccan international Amine Harit, on loan from Schalke 04, is permanently signing with Olympique de Marseille until 2027. His purchase option has been automatically triggered after 15 appearances.
According to a clause in the loan contract negotiated with Schalke 04, from 15 matches played under the sky and white jersey (as a starter or coming on as a substitute), the Moroccan became "definitively" Marseillais.
By playing on Sunday evening against OL, the 25-year-old midfielder made his 15th appearance with OM this season. Which means that he becomes "definitively" Marseillais, in accordance with the agreement signed. The information was confirmed by the management of the Phocaean club.
The transfer amount is around 5 million euros. The club should soon make this move official. An important element of Igor Tudor’s system, Amine Harit had played 34 matches with Marseille last season, for 5 goals and 4 assists.
