Morocco’s Amine Harit Out of World Cup After Knee Injury in Ligue 1 Match

Substituted due to injury during the Ligue 1 match of Olympique de Marseille against AS Monaco on Sunday, November 13, Moroccan international Amine Harit will no longer be able to participate in the World Cup to be held in Qatar from November 20 to December 18.
A new blow for the coach of the Moroccan national team who has already recorded the withdrawals of Tarek Tissoudali and Adam Massina due to injury and probably that of Zakaria Aboukhlal, injured in the right thigh during Toulouse’s defeat against Rennes (1-2). Amine Harit "was substituted on a stretcher around the hour mark after a heavy contact on the knee with Monaco central defender Axel Disasi". He suffers "from a sprain of the cruciate ligaments of the left knee", announced Olympique de Marseille in a press release published on its official website.
According to the explanations of the Marseille club, medical examinations are underway to offer him appropriate care for his injury. "The player will follow a protocol of appropriate care," explains the French club. The former Nantes player will be away from the pitch for 6 to 9 months. His dream of participating in the World Cup has thus been shattered.
