Morocco’s Amine Harit to Join World Cup Squad Despite Injury, FRMF Confirms

Despite his injury, the Atlas Lion Amine Harit will be with his teammates in Qatar. This is the decision of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).
Amine Harit will join his teammates in Qatar not as a player but as a member of the Moroccan national team. Although he is ruled out of the World Cup, he will receive the match bonuses. "Amine Harit will accompany the Atlas Lions to Qatar during the World Cup. Faouzi Lekjaa even made sure that the player would benefit from the same bonuses as his teammates," can be read in a tweet from Soccer12.
Substituted due to injury during the Ligue 1 match of Olympique de Marseille against AS Monaco on Sunday, November 13, Amine Harit saw his dream of participating in his first World Cup shattered. According to his club, which is already looking for a replacement for him, he will be away from the pitch for between 6 and 9 months.
