Marrakech Police Capture Two Most Wanted Criminals in Separate Operations

Two individuals actively sought for several months were intercepted on January 3 by the police elements of M’hamid in Marrakech. Two different operations led to the arrest of these two people involved in several crimes nationwide.
The first suspect is a repeat offender, with multiple criminal records. He was already the subject of eight national arrest warrants issued by the Royal Gendarmerie for "drug trafficking", "armed robbery" and "premeditated murder". He was arrested by the police of the 12th police district, following an ambush set up in a cafe in the Maatallah district of M’hamid.
As for the second suspect, he was also the subject of an arrest warrant issued by the judicial police of Marrakech, for drug and psychotropic trafficking. It was in possession of some 120 hallucinogenic tablets, intended to be sold on the market, that he was apprehended. This was at a police checkpoint set up on the road to Essaouira, specifies the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
