Cocaine Trafficker Arrested in Marrakech Gas Station Sting Operation

A drug trafficker was recently arrested by the anti-drug brigade of the prefectural judicial police service in Marrakech. This repeat offender was in possession of hard drugs.
The investigations showed that this individual had resumed his illicit cocaine trafficking activity on board a 4x4 vehicle on the avenues of the ochre city. Thereupon, the elements of the prefectural judicial police service of Marrakech set up an ambush that led to the arrest of the trafficker, at a gas station, on the road to Fez.
Still in the context of this case, searches were carried out at the home of the accused and led to the seizure, among other things, of 25 grams of cocaine packaged and ready to be sold, 330 grams of sodium bicarbonate powder, an electronic scale and packaging equipment.
Later, the results of new investigations revealed that the individual was a repeat offender who was the subject of two national arrest warrants for the same offense.
For the needs of the investigation, he was placed in custody pending being brought before the public prosecutor. For now, the elements of the anti-drug brigade are continuing their investigations in order to arrest any possible accomplices of the trafficker and thus dismantle the network.
