Marrakech Police Arrest 60-Year-Old Man for Child Rape and Drug Trafficking

The elements of the prefectural judicial police of Marrakech arrested a sexagenarian father, for drug trafficking and the rape of a 12-year-old minor. The accused, a repeat offender well known to the police, was referred to the public prosecutor’s office at the Court of Appeal of Marrakech.
The story broke when the victim’s mother discovered on several occasions sums of money in her son’s pockets, in addition to the 5 DH she rarely gave him, reports Aujourd’hui Le Maroc. Questioned, the young boy finally confessed everything to her. Horrified, she went to the Marrakech police station to file a complaint. The police investigation opened, the police finally identified the aggressor.
The defendant was arrested at his home with a quantity of hashish, three knives and four Smartphones. While he admitted to being a drug dealer, he did not confess to his crime of pedophilia.
