School Principal in Morocco Arrested for Alleged Rape of Student

The judicial police of Sidi Kacem proceeded to the arrest and provisional detention, on Saturday, of the principal of a school in the locality, for the rape of one of his students. According to the first elements of the investigation, the 58-year-old suspect committed his crime during recess, after luring the victim into his office, away from the eyes of the other students and teachers.
The rape committed on the eve of the new year aroused the anger and indignation of the population and mobilized all the security services of the city. The scandal broke out when the little girl revealed to her mother that she had been the victim of several sexual assaults committed by the principal of the primary school where she is enrolled. A complaint filed by the family led the police to the trail of the school principal. He was arrested and brought before the Attorney General of the King last Saturday for rape of a minor, reports the daily Al Akhbar.
Faced with the chilling testimony given by the little girl, according to which she had been repeatedly raped by the school official, the man finally confessed his crime. These confessions prompted the Attorney General of the Court of Appeal of Kénitra to bring him, under arrest, before the investigating judge. After questioning him, the magistrate ordered his incarceration, before launching an in-depth investigation. The family attached a medical certificate to their complaint confirming the sexual abuse and rape, the daily specifies.
