Marrakech Outshines Bangkok in Top American Travel Destinations, New Survey Reveals

A famous magazine places two Moroccan cities in its ranking of the 33 cities preferred by Americans.
The CeoWorld magazine has released its ranking of the 33 destinations most preferred by Americans, based on the opinions of its readers. About 120,000 readers shared their travel preferences. The platform notes that American travelers are increasingly seeking major cities and relaxing beach vacations abroad. 51% of them are looking for relaxation. Marrakech is recognized as one of the most popular destinations for American travelers. With a score of 79.31, the Moroccan city ranks 16th in the top 33. It outperforms Bangkok (79.13) and Buenos Aires (77.07).
Cancún (Mexico) takes first place with a score of 92.81. The Mexican city is followed by Paris (92.53). Rome (Italy) takes third place with a score of 92.31. Bali (88.1) takes fourth place while St. Lucia (88.7) takes fifth place. Then come London (87.83), Hanoi (87.15), Barcelona (86.19), Venice (85.79) and Osaka (83.68). Dubai takes 11th place. Casablanca takes 23rd place with a score of 74.02. Mauritius (62.26) and the Maldives (61.39) close out the podium.
