Marrakech-Menara Named Among World’s Most Beautiful Airports

The Marrakech-Menara airport is among the top 7 most beautiful airports in the world.
The airport owes this international recognition largely to its infrastructure and equipment. Located northwest of Marrakech in Morocco, Marrakech-Menara has three terminals.
Terminal 1 had been completely renovated in 2008, with 21st century Moroccan palace architecture, with Islamic and natural geometric patterns that are part of a network of giant concrete diamonds, equipped with solar panels. Terminal 2 had been put into service in 2005. Finally, Terminal 3. In 2016, the airport had undergone an extension to reach a total annual reception capacity of 9 million passengers.
Beijing-Daxing China Airport (PKX) tops the top 7 list of the most beautiful airports in the world to visit, followed by Changi Singapore (SIN), Al Maktoum, also called Dubai World Central (DWC), in the United Arab Emirates, which has a capacity of 26.5 million passengers per year, and Denver Colorado, in the United States (DEN), the most photographed airport. The Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas (MAD) airports in Spain and Incheon in South Korea (ICN) round out the podium.
