Marrakech to Host Major British Travel Industry Congress in 2021

The Congress of the Association of British Travel Agents and Tour Operators (ABTA) will be held in 2021 in Marrakech. The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) announced this in a video addressed to British tourists.
The ONMT had postponed the congress due to the Covid-19 pandemic. But since there is some flexibility in the restrictive measures, the authorities have decided to reconsider certain events. Thus, the Director of the ONMT, Adel El Fakir, stressed that despite the difficulties caused by the pandemic, "Morocco is still there, standing, combative and with an incredible strength to overcome this crisis" in order to welcome British tourists again in "the best conditions", reports the MAP.
Adel El Faker specified that everything will be done to ensure the health safety of all those who will come to admire the magnificent landscapes and the many tourist opportunities offered by Morocco. The ONMT video is punctuated with testimonials from many tourism industry players, extolling the virtues of Marrakech. The video has received a favorable response from British tourists, who have applauded the initiative, the same source reports.
