British Tourists Return to Agadir as Morocco Eases Travel Restrictions

The city of Agadir has just welcomed British tourists, the first since the easing of access conditions in the country. The travelers arrived in the Kingdom via a Ryanair flight.
To celebrate this relaunch of tourism in the capital of Souss, tourism professionals, local authorities and officials from Agadir Al Massira airport were present. In his welcome address, the airport director hailed this resumption of activities, a source of hope for tourism stakeholders.
According to the director of the Regional Tourism Council (CRT) of Agadir Souss-Massa Asmaa Oubou, the return of tourists to Agadir is a huge step towards the gradual recovery of tourism. She also specified that this dream is being realized thanks to the eased health protocol, namely the removal of the serological test and the extension of the validity of the PCR test to 3 days instead of 2. To these measures is added the opening of the beaches, recently decided by the local authorities.
This relaunch is salutary for hotel managers, heavily impacted by the crisis for several months due to the coronavirus.
