Marrakech-Agadir in 1 hour by high-speed train
The Minister of Transport, Abdessamad Kayouh, unveiled the future face of the Moroccan rail network. By 2030, the high-speed line will connect Kenitra to Marrakech in two and a half hours, compared to six hours today, radically transforming national mobility.
The extension of the network will provide unprecedented connectivity for Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca. The latter will be only 35 minutes from the capital, Rabat, and 55 minutes from Marrakech. For passengers traveling from Tangier, the journey time to the airport hub will be reduced to one hour and 35 minutes.
