This project is accompanied by an increase in the capacity of the country’s other platforms. In Tetouan, the extension of Sania Ramel airport is 30% complete for delivery in 2027. The national ambition is to increase the overall capacity from 40 to 80 million travelers by 2030 through the expansion of seven airport sites.

In Casablanca, the earthworks of Mohammed V airport show a 70% completion rate. The construction contract for the new terminal, worth 12.8 billion dirhams, was won by a 100% Moroccan consortium.
