Manhunt Intensifies for Suspects in Casablanca Police Officer’s Murder

The elements of the BNPJ and the DGST continue their investigations to arrest the perpetrators of the murder of the police officer whose charred body was found on Thursday in the outskirts of Casablanca.
The investigators are doing their utmost to elucidate the heinous murder of this traffic police officer whose charred body was found on Thursday in the Lakhdadra douar in the province of Berrechid, reports the daily Al Akhbar. The agents have located dozens of cell phones whose owners were near the policeman’s workplace, say sources close to the investigation, specifying that several people have already been questioned by the BNPJ elements.
The investigators also arrested on Saturday in the town of Daroua several individuals on board a Clio-branded car strangely resembling the one in which the four suspects fled after burning the policeman’s vehicle, and described by witnesses to the scene. But a thorough investigation concluded that neither the arrested individuals nor the car were related to this crime.
The security services found the handcuffs, uniform, blood-covered glasses and the policeman’s portable camera next to his charred body. The investigators are taking turns day and night to find the killers of the traffic police officer who was posthumously promoted.
