The events took place in the early morning of Wednesday, next to a bar in Cales de Majorca. Christian, a resident of the municipality of Felanitx, approached Mohamed, a Moroccan from Manacor whom he suspects of dating his wife, to threaten him before hitting him in the eye with a chain. As the victim collapsed, the aggressor continued to kick him in the head, causing him serious brain injuries.
Christian and his accomplices then fled, leaving the unconscious Moroccan on the ground. The police were able to identify the aggressor on the surveillance cameras. But for the moment, no trace of him and his accomplices. Mohamed, for his part, is still between life and death in the Son Espases hospital.
