Manchester United Cools Interest in Fiorentina’s Amrabat Amid €30M Price Tag

Manchester United is moving away from Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat who is ready to leave Italy this summer. Fiorentina is demanding 30 million euros to let their midfielder go.
Manchester United, one of the contenders for Sofyan Amrabat, would now show little interest in recruiting the Atlas Lion. The English club "would have already signed the Fiorentina midfielder if they had really wanted him," estimates Samuel Luckhurst, editor-in-chief of Manchester United for the Manchester Evening News, adding that "the mere mention of his name to a senior Manchester United official during the pre-season tour in the United States has made him turn a blind eye."
The Red Devils would be likely to be interested in Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch instead of the Moroccan international, believes the club’s website, recalling that Manchester United has spent £180 million to recruit André Onana, Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund this summer, and that even if it needs to "sell" players before adding others, it would not have wasted time signing Amrabat if they really wanted him.
This architect of the historic and exceptional journey of the Moroccan team at the 2022 Qatar World Cup would not be in the plans of coach Erik ten Hag, while French international Louis Saha believes that Sofyan’s arrival at Old Trafford would be an opportunity for the English club which "would improve". The Red Devils need to strengthen their midfield.
